October’s Wine of the Month: Quattro Goomba’s Vino de Nonni
“Four Friends” or Quattro Goomba brings the spirit of Italy bottled in the hills of Virginia. Our staff and wine tour manager have fallen in love with their Vino De Nonni, literally meaning “Grandfather’s wine”. Located in South Riding, Quattro is Virginia’s first micro urban winery and produces this blend of two reds and one white grape to deliver a light-bodied and fruity wine that pairs well with white pastas, fish, poultry or a cozy pizza night.
Every Sunday this fall they host local music for Acoustic Sundays. The inviting cabin is surrounded by rustic farmland where you can watch the sunset on the spacious back patio.
